La Périchole on Sony Center Screen

On Sunday, June 6, from 20.15 hrs the Sony Center in cooperation with ZDF/3sat broadcasts the Premiere of „La Périchole“ from 'Komische Oper' on the big screen.

The Musical Comedy (Opéra-bouffe) by Jacques Offenbach is set in Lima, the capital of Peru. What will happen with desires in a world where pleasure is not forbidden, but dictated?To what extend can one adapt to relation, without losing oneself? The musical comedy asks these existential questions with scathing humour. Admission is free!
