On Thursday, 23 June 2022, the Sony Center will kick off a new after-work concert series with an open-air concert by JazzOrchester X-Berg. At 6:30 p.m., the 23-piece orchestra is scheduled to perform live for an hour at the Forum.
Every Thursday at 6:30 PM, a variety of bands will perform an after-work concert at the Sony Center Forum throughout the summer. The concerts are free of charge and there is no need to register beforehand. Berliners can start their evening off in a relaxed atmosphere to the sound of great music.
JazzOrchester X-Berg, a band from Berlin Mitte, will be kicking off the concert series. Founded in Berlin in 2008, the orchestra brings together many talents of the young Berlin jazz scene. The Berlin trombonist Christian Fischer leads the band of jazz musicians, whose repertoire ranges from swing to Latin to modern jazz – with something in store for everyone. The JazzOrchestra X-Berg has already scooped several awards, among others at the International Bigband Competition in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
End your day on the right note – in the truest sense of the word – and enjoy exciting musical performances in a relaxed atmosphere.
