Open-air art

From September 10 to 12, the Sony Center will once again be transformed into an open-air art gallery. 22 national and international visual artists* will personally present photography, painting, collage, graphics, sculpture and object art. Buying a work directly from the artist is something very special, provides new experiences and also offers the opportunity to discover art in a new way.

Art at home or at work creates an individual atmosphere, it can inspire and sensitize. Many people appreciate this added value of art. ART ESSENZ offers direct access to contemporary art. All presented works, unique pieces, limited editions, series or multiples are for sale - for large and small budgets.

With ART ESSENZ, the Sony Center has been supporting artists for years - all the more important is the commitment in times of the Corona crisis. This year's ART ESSENZ will take place in compliance with strict hygiene and social distancing specifications. For this purpose, a comprehensive hygiene and infection protection concept was developed in advance.

Once again, the Sony Center is the initiator of ART ESSENZ. The art fair is one of the many art and cultural events that take place at the Sony Center and help to ensure that Berlin continues to live up to its reputation as the cultural capital of Germany. It is part of the Sony Center's concept to continue to offer art and culture a broad platform and to support artists in the future.
